Problem:

On a PinScore™ Model PS-12232-P16DE system in my Data East BACK TO THE FUTURE pinball machine, everything is backwards.  For example, the word 'FOOTBALL' scrolls across as 'LLABTOOF'.

Answer:

The PinScore™ PS-12232 Master Display board has a 3-position DIP switch. Switch #2, when in the UP position, will cause this to happen. Set Switch #2 to the DOWN position to correct the problem.

This switch is incorrectly labeled on Revision A and Revision B boards. Ensure switch #2 is in the DOWN position.

Revision C and later displays have the correct switch labels.

The PS-12232ng Rev A board does not have the dip switch setting so this is not an issue.
